Platform Beta Testing Feedback
On my profile, the best practice sections I've authored show up under both the "contributed videos" and "best practices" https://www.plantnucleus.org/profile/katie-heineman (This is also a test to see if the links to the discussion boards are now working)

I cannot seem to be able to answer questions in the Forum without first clicking on the "Save" button (i.e. with no answer text), then using "Edit" to actually enter the answer text. I found I have the same issue with creating a new post - such as this issue note. Please advise - Thanks!

A few emails were sent in error last week alerting everyone to new best pratice sections. Our developers are working on the new sections, and we hope to have them on the website soon!

I notice that when I answer or comment on a question/topic, I'm in no way prompted to follow the question/topic. Is there a way to prompt people to follow the question that they answer so they can respond to follow up questions?

How about an optional 'solved' or 'answered' flag that the original poster (or moderator) can apply to a thread when they have a satisfactory answer to a question? Some forums put that flag into the title of the thread and/or highlight the most helpful response to-date directly after the question. This is especially helpful for seaching for only 'answered' or 'open' questions, and when threads increase in length over multiple pages.

When I search the website no papers are listed, even though some match papers uploaded by contributors. Can searchese include those?

It might be helpful to add, or at least make optional, a user's affiliation when they are posting. I may not know that Joyce Maschinski works at the CPC when I read her comments. It would provide more context for users not super familiar with people inside the network.
