FAQ: Who makes the seed banking decisions at your institution? Is this the correct person?

We recommend that seed banking decisions are done by a committee that would include a colleague with restoration expertise and one with horticultural expertise. It will be necessary to determine whether the seeds can be replenished and whether there is a good plan for outplanting that will secure the species.
